If you are feeling overwhelmed by the world today…

May I suggest reading Isaiah 59 AND THEN Isaiah 60? The prophet rips into evil and oppression in this world, and then talks about what God will do to redeem it. Until the end of Isaiah, it’s mostly happy from there. I just think that with all the crazy of today and pain going around, it helps to remember what we’ve got to look forward to. God is faithful, and he keeps his promises. He remembers his people.

I am a teacher-to-be who loves people. I am not afraid of many things. I like to explain my thoughts logically on a very birds-eye view level--I was born thinking that way. I follow Jesus Christ, and I accept only that label to describe my identity--that I am a child of God, as are infinite others, regardless of their other identities. Christ is my one thing.
