Small thought 8/11

Why do we care more about making disciples of others than simply examining how much God cares for us as individuals? I know that seems selfish, but hear me out. If we aren’t sure that God loves us as is, then we will try to seek his love in the illusion of leading others and bringing them into a salvation that isn’t ours? His grace is enough for all of us. Enough for those who lead. Enough for those who follow. It doesn’t come from us. And we should all feel comfortable in resting in it so long as we are able, and simply try to be one another’s company through the doubt.

I am a teacher-to-be who loves people. I am not afraid of many things. I like to explain my thoughts logically on a very birds-eye view level--I was born thinking that way. I follow Jesus Christ, and I accept only that label to describe my identity--that I am a child of God, as are infinite others, regardless of their other identities. Christ is my one thing.
