This Spring Break volunteer trip I took was off the chain. We stayed in a Methodist Church in Rogers Park in Chicago, and all the people who worked their and ministered to us were so kind. This is their window, in the sanctuary where I slept.
Me and a friend went to the Garfield Park Conservatory. I forget if I already shared photos from there, but it was so lovely. They were having a Spring Expo event, so all the beautiful blooming flowers. They had a ton of interactive learning stuff for the kids to play with, so that made me smile.
More stuff (all of it is pretty to me, I don’t know bout y’all):
These trees kinda made me think of the Truffala trees in Dr. Suess. Those things were super fluffy, but made out of these pink fluff fibers. Definitely worth it.
