Rando photos from today and spring break

Over spring break, me and a couple friends who were volunteering in Chicago had the opportunity to go to the Chicago Public Library (the bomb diggity). In the “Makers Lab”, there was a set of 3D Printers, and a guy walked me through making a tiny figurine of myself. His name was Tim.  He was nice.

But anyways, I liked to imagine (taking these photos) that I was Alice in wonderland.  It worked. Don’t you ever wish you could live among the flowers? Yeah that’s right, I thought so.

Thought these were honeysuckle as a kid. They’re definitely not.

The truth comes out. This is why Honey I Shrunk the Kids would never work out right in my house.

I am a second-grade teacher and pastor-to-be who loves people. I spend my weekends with friends or wandering the museums of DC alone and with a journal, trying to put words on the places of the soul that still feel wordless. I spent most of my days at school trying to learn patience through my students and running on sheer nerdy passion. I follow Jesus Christ, and savor that as my most important identity--that I am a child of God, as are infinite others, regardless of their other identities. Christ is my one thing.
